  "YOU Can do it" time~ want to build your horse and your confidence with many different things? Such as big soccer ball, road flares, bridges, brush, tires, back throughs, car wash, flags, tents, tarps, stereo and water obstacles? This is your chance with your riding horse or your ground training horse. $ 40 per horse/per handler spend the time you need on the course working thorugh things. Double Horse Discount $ 65 for 2 horses.  If you want help with your horse $60/hr assistance and then ride the course when done. Bring one or more of your horses and spend the day working on all sorts of things with your horse.

Family nights

June to August , Wednesday nights: Join us for a night full of horseback family fun. Play games on horseback such as barrels, poles, key race, sucker race, trail race, pairs, and team events. All geared toward your family and your horses. Wednesday nights! 

Family nights are followed with a potluck dinner with everyone contributing to the meal.

Youth Horsemanship Camp

This Camp will be in Joseph Oregon at  Dun the Right Way Horses Ranch. The camp is limited to 15 youth for this camp.

Date pending

A two day camp will help kids with horsemanship skills, showmanship, trail, roping, gaming and more. We will focus on learning the basics of solid ground work and the fundamentals of horsemanship in western and English riding. Youth will get to practice techniques to make them safe and solid in the show ring, the back yard, or country side rides. We will learn to advance their skills in areas they want to excel in. This camp is designed to push their talents and test their skills. The camp is open to youth from all over the country and all levels. Space is limited.

3 adult clinicians and 3 youth leaders. Lots of one on one!

 There are a limited number of horses available to rent for the camp. Boarding is also available and owners/riders who are responsible for hay, feed, or supplements. Age appropriate for 8 to 18 year olds. Ages may vary depending on the child.

Mother & Daughter retreat

At Dun the Right Way Horses Ranch. This retreat is limited to 10 people or 5 mother/daughter groups. Take the time to bond with your mother/ daughter and your horses. Spend the weekend riding trails, getting lessons in advanced horsemanship skills. This retreat is designed with you in mind. When you get your registration packet you will be asked questions about what you want to learn, what your experience is, what your horses experience is, and how you feel about the chance to learn more with your loved one. The ideas and the abilities for the retreat are only limited to those of the participants and their dreams! The support, education and the experience gained will give you a lifetime of memories. Lodging available on site, trailer hook ups- bring your camper, trailer, tents or more. Also available is a bunkhouse for those that wish to stay but don't have a trailer. Dinner will be provided. Bring your breakfast and lunch but plan to hang with the group while we eat. Cost: $700 for both of you--early registration $600. A limited number of horses are available for rent. Boarding is provided but grain, supplements and/or grain is provided by owners/riders. A limited number of horses will be available for rent. (Additional fees applies)  Board space is provided but feed and supplements/grains is provided by owners/riders.

Night training

May (weather depending), June & July--Monday nights-it is about you and your horse. These trainings will focus on young or older horses that need groundwork and basic training. Have one-on-one help with your horse. You will work on desensitizing, getting started under saddle, and/or fixing issues under saddle. Space is limited to 5 handlers with horses. 4 Sessions $180 or $150 if paid in advance prior to first class starting. Are you ready for some time with your project horse and want some help? 

Women's retreat

We are so excited to offer this great retreat. Planning the EVENT takes those planning on coming, as we do what particpants dream of! 

Women's Horseback retreat come and lets FOCUS on you and your horse!  You just get to ride and learn more about horsemanship.

Want to move cows? Learn about mounting Shooting? Trail? Jumping? Western? English? Do you lack confidence? Do you have training issues with your horse~ doesn't like to cross water? load in the trailer? We can do for this retreat! This is one for you!

Clinician: Vixen Radford: AAS Horse Management Degree, 24 yrs 4-H/Open/Breed Horse Show Judge, PNW clinician, Owner Dun the Right Way Horses/Custom Training, Top 25 finisher in the first Extreme Mustang Makeover, Craig Cameron Extreme Trail Challenge Competitor, Miss Rodeo Oregon Judge, Featured trainer in Living the Country Life Magazine, and Horsemanship instructor to Miss Rodeo America 2012 and may other rodeo title holders, she's taught at the the Miss Rodeo Oregon Queens clinic since 2010 to 2015.

Rodeo Court Clinic

Dun the Right Horses is proud to present a rodeo clinic in Eastern Oregon.

This Court Clinic is designed for those thinking they want to be on a rodeo court, or are presently on a court. This clinic will help you step up to the next level with trainers, clinicians and coaches that helped past, present and future title holders for rodeos such as Chief Joseph Days, Elgin Stampede, Eastern Oregon Livestock Show, Pendleton Round Up, Lewiston Round Up, Miss Rodeo Oregon and Miss Rodeo America. Topics will range from speaking, modeling, knowledge tests, horsemanship interviews, and impromptu questions, riding grand entry, parades, riding set patterns, design of patterns, rail work and run ins. This is an actual bring your horse clinic and get advice from true horsemanship judges.

GREAT Opportunity for any young lady wanting to be on a rodeo court or that is presently serving on a rodeo court.
 

Fee: $70 per day or $130 for both days with pre-registration. Late registration is $95 for one day or $155 for both.

Progressive Horsemanship Clinic

Designed for the person that wants to spend more time with their horse, but may not feel totally comfortable. Also perfect for the parent that has kids involved with horses but you know very little. We will help you build your confidence from catching the horse, hoof care, saddling, ridng, leading, and knowing horse's body language to help in your overall safety. This clinic is designed to allow you to go off site, practice, and then have the opportunity to come back for additional feedback.

Progressive horsemanship classes (6:30 pm each night)

Cost is $ 150 if you pay for all classes up front or pay by the class $ 50 per class.

Boot CAMPS or Speciality Weekends

Have you dreamed of the chance to take your horse to a working ranch with a trainer and you get to work your horse and then work other horses, give lessons, work cattle, take trail rides? Here is your chance! We are offering to a limited number of people during the spring, summer and fall a Boot Camp chance. Bring your horse, work it daily with me helping and get to ride on trails, move cattle, side my side with a me all day every day. We can do a week or weekends. Dates are not set in stone so we can make it work with our calendars. Bring your young horse, problem horse or horse you want just tuned up and fixed. And the beautiful country and area is a bonus beyond your wildest dreams.

Has it been some time since you have been on your horse, you are feeding and caring for them, but you don't have something holidng you back from getting back in the saddle.
